hi just bought a 2005 yaris tspirit D4D all is well apart from trip computer all its showing is average speed and wont switch over to range or average consumption. tried all sorts apart from disconnecting Battery.

what could it be my last 2 yaris had these features working fine.

I can't really help Rizzla except maybe to say this....

This morning driving my 59 plate 1.33Tr to the supermarket I noticed the speed display was in kilometres per hour instead of miles/hour. Hell thought I, is this going to take me ages to discover how to put it right? I cycled all the way through the options and ended up right back at the same place. Then a flash of inspiration. I moved to the next item in the cycle and simply held the button down for a few seconds. Bingo, the display changed!

Might be worth a try.

MK1 Yaris Diesels had a limited trip computer and did not include MPG or range, Petrol models did. The function did appear on MK2 which model do you have?

It's 2005 (55)mk1 facelift tspirit.

On my friends 03 yaris d4d all functions work.

These functions do not exist on the Mark 1 D4D. Mine does not have them.

Wat a shame it was working on my other 2 petrol yaris thanks for replys people.
