All wipers on my auris have started smearing.

Will I have to get new ones ? Any advice please ?

I have a Dec 2011 Auris 1.6 Petrol version

Give them a good clean with screen wash and hot water and a rag then try them if not it's time to replace em

If cleaning won't help, you won't necessarily need new wipers. You can get just the rubbers and replace the old ones.

Just had new wipers on our 2010 Auris . The dealer option of new insets was the cheapest

I got a quote of £25. Is that in line with with your cost?

I recently replaced mine with a pair of Bosch aerotwin from wiperblades.co.uk for about £25. They do cheaper ones but I read that the Bosch ones were best.

That was about it cheaper than Halfords and they fitted them

PIAA silicone wipers; Best damned wipers you can buy IMHO!

Don't degrade exposed to the sun, survives winter/summer cycles with no degradation and are completely silent. None of the screeeaaach you get when with normal wipers on a lightly wet windscreen!

Also creates a water repellent layer on the windscreen that water just beads off of (Literally the only 'clean' part of my car right now :crybaby:). I can turn my wipers off at 70mph in heavy rain as the water just rolls off the screen
