Headlight Lens, Yaris 2001

I've cleaned and polished the plastic headlamp lenses a couple of times but they don't take long to get dull again.

Taking a close look at the lenses it would appear that they just clip on and could possibly be replaced without replacing the rest of the headlight.

Does anyone know if they are available as spares and can be bought without taking out a second mortgage?

I know that polishing kits can be bought but they're not particularly cheap and it's possible that with age the lenses may get to the age where polishing is no longer a cure.

The other alternative is to buy a pair of new after market headlamps that appear on eBay.

Toyota do not supply a lens, they are a complete headlamp unit, price depends on whether or not it is French or Japanese built

Well, if it's of interest to others, I've had three quotes for a pair of plastic headlight lenses and it looks like I won't get much change out of £200.00. None at all if I buy two seals as well.
