This video shows fixing rain sensing wipers auto sensing wipers on your car to be ready for the rain. Its pretty simple and straight forward and worth doing if rain sensing wipers are not working

I found the sensor needs quite a bit of water and/or good airflow so the rain is streaming for it to work. If it is fairly light rain that mostly just spots, then the sensor seems unable to detect it.

yes mine started out like this where it did not detect light rain and only worked when heavy rainfall was pouring over the sensor. Then it stopped working at all. So this is why i had to fix it.

After fixing now it's detecting the lightest spots of rain which is very convenient while driving to have one more thing dropped out of my tasks as a driver
