Oil Service Maintenance Warning

hi,

I have a slight problem, I change my oil 4 months ago, and did around 5000 miles since. Two weeks ago, I bumped on the road sidewith the right forward wheel, and a message telling me to make the oil service appeared immediately and come up each time I start the car.

I guess a connector is disconnected, anyone knows where they are?

Did you reset the oil maintenance warning when you changed the oil?

As soonas the message appeared, I called my mechanic, he said he did it, but I do not know how to check?

maybe he forgot.... what is needed to check this?

For vehicles without Smart Entry/Exit:

1. Whilst the engine is running, switch the instrument display to show the odometer

2. Turn the engine switch off.

3. Whilst pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to 'ON', but do not start the engine. Continue to press and hold the trip meter reset button until the trip meter displays '000000'.

For vehicles with Smart Entry/Exit:

1. Whilst the engine is running, switch the instrument display to show the odometer

2. Turn the Engine Start Stop switch off.

3. Whilst pressing the trip meter reset button, set the Engine Start Stop switch to Ignition On mode, but fo not start the engine. Continue to press and hold the trip meter reset button until the trip meter displays '000000'.
