Problema with IPhone 7 in X-touch

Hi,

I just bought a Toyota Aygo and i was very excited to try listen Spotify via bluetooth.

My problem is that i am able to connect my iPhone 7 via bluetooth with the X-Touch and i receive the calls in the car. But when i try to listen music in the car, the iPhone does not detect the x-touch as a audio out. i can change songs in the x-touch but the sound always comes from the Phone and i can't change to the car. It works sometimes but is very rare. I've tried to unpair the devices, reboot but it does not work always.

 

any ideas of what is the problem?

Try deleting  'my touch screen' on the phone and the phone from the X-Touch. Then reconnect from the phone.

I've already done that. It works but the next time i reconnect the bluetooth it does not work again

Sometimes I have problems initially with my iPhone 6s.

If I'm reading your post correctly what you could do is to select bluetooth audio from the car first once the iPhone is paired, rather than using phone then car if that makes sense. At first the sound will come from the iPhone, turn the screen off by using the side button and within a few seconds the sound should come from the car Speakers.

Apparently that worked! I first paired the devices, selected audio from bluetooth in the car, and just after that i started the music on Spotify on the iPhone and the sound came from the car after a few seconds. Thank you a lot!
