Intake manifold

Hi Toyota Lovers, 

I want to clean my Toyota Avensis D4D T27 , intake manifold and the ports. But I don't seem to find any information, videos or what so ever about how to do it. My issues are basically, with the fuel pipes, can I disconnect them , ofc with disconnect the Battery , so there will be no pressure on those pipes, but would I be able to re connect them easy? And there is a foam around the manifold , how to I take it off? Is it glued ? Well basically, if someone could give me some directions how to do this work, I have cleaned the EGR , was in a mess, so I would like to clean the rest. 

I appreciate all the information, or any tutorial or what ever you can do, to help me out. When I do this work I could post here how to do it, with pictures.
