2004 2.4 battery and oil lights

hi guys

ive got a 2004 2.4  with under 29000 miles on her

yesterday (monday) id just taken off when my Battery and oil light came on at the same time, i immediatley stopped and did the usual checks, oil, fluid. connections etc. everything was fine and the car drove 100%

if i hard eccellerated or went above 2700rpm these lights started to blink 

ive search the net and all i can find would be an alternater problem but i couldnt find any info about both lights lighting or flashing at the same time in tandom so to speak

has any1 came across this
