Audio Problems with 2017 Prius

Two weeks ago my iPhone max would not play music on Prius audio. It would seem that the phone was connnected as it played on the phone for a second or two before apparently connecting. Telepone calling, phone book of contacts etc all appear on screen and are working fine via car but not music. Cd is playing but I cannot see track and screen says loading all the time when playing cd. Have tried forgetting devices and reconnecting without success. It’s a jbl system and even the jbl demo will not play. Would be grateful for any advice as I miss the audio books, podcasts and music. Ml
