Thank you Paul. Yes I did have another look..no amp. I had found wires and a thing that joined them together so thought maybe that was it. I didn’t realise the amp was like a box. I was thinking it was like a sort of fuse.

Not to worry all sorted now. Thank you so much taking the time to come back and reply it’s been very kind of you and old codger to to have the patience for an old duffer like me and help me out.
