Check for front end damage (why just change the nose).

BHP is very optimistic for rev1/2 .. I'm running 14psi with all my mods and I'm arrond the 250/260 bhp mark ..

Is that a rev1 steering wheel too?

People are always hyping their bhp claims, as they think people who 'know' won't be looking for such a car. Sounds like it is quite good.

are there any major rust areas I should look for, also any noises for specific issues! cheers

MR2's (and most other toyota's) are usually very good for rust so if there is any,

it could be due to badly repaired accident damage.

Also check around the the t-bar roof as it gets chipped around the edges

when fitting and removing the glass.

Its not a rev1 wheel cos ive changed mine to that one and it it came from a rev3.

It will be my first Non-renault and first Turbo. I have had five Renault Sports over the last 6 years, Now decided to go Jap. Think the MR2's are the dogs Just never realised their potential until now, sure you will all be seeing alot more of me in the future!

Well I went to see it and loved it!!!

Really need one of you lot to come and have a look at it with me TBH!

Here are some pics I took!

Just to remind you it is a 1992 with 88,000 miles and it has some weird boost gauge thingy which is pretty cool! Brand new tyres too, But not much history at all, seems to have only come to the uk in 1998 and hasn't really been driven!

Anyway here are the pictures rough price guides would be great guys!!

Sorry mate, they are pics I took when I was there earlier

Apartently the headunit isn't conected because the wiring has been changed for a single (normal) size headunit.

Car was nice though and sounded awesome

Would like to know how much you guys think it is worth,

Oh and is there anyway to fix that wear on the drivers seat, not bad, am just fussy

Does the front bumper look like it is ok then?

I know you guys said to check it to make sure it hadn't had a front smash

you need to look behind the bumper to see if it's had a shunt ..

Where in the UK is it?

J reg tubby .. 2.5k ~ 3.5k .. depends on the whole package ..

If it was west London I'd have gone over to help fella, but Central is a bit of a distance ..

Well I am going to be looking at another one in SE london on Saturday which is also Ferrari Red 1990 though but has only done 45000 miles and looks absolutely mint, Would prefer a non modified one anyway TBH.

Non-modded (well serious mods) is the best bet .. a filter an exhaust is nothing though ..

Looks nice, but not worth over 3.5K with no history and that mileage.

Looks nice and clean inside, though aging a bit under the bonnet and hood.

What about a AA check up on the mechanics if you are serious?

hi mate, ill come down to central if you want. when are you thinkin of going? my j reg cost 3700 with 65000 on the clock last february so id imagine this to be about 3500.

Engine looks like it hasnt been modded at all which is of course a good thing! Looks like it may have been steam cleaned, either that or its been kept in mint condition.

Paintwork looks fine, reds are known to fade badly but i cant notice any bad bits on that.

Main thing to look out for is as bibbs has mentioned is any evidence of damage behind the front bumper.

Anyway let me know if you want me to come down, i'll be happy to!
