Car no longer stops idling when stationary for long periods regardless of the charged status of the Battery... reminds me of a DPF regeneration cycle on my previous diesels ... is this a normal part of the software or does it indicate a problem? Cheers

It's likely trying to keep the combustion engine warmed up. I've noticed the same thing in the ~5C temperatures of the last couple of weeks.
