Still with wireless antenna

I contacted the garage where I bought my Aygo, less than a year ago, and find that they will order a replacement antenna for me.  But, it will cost over 40 pounds and I have to collect it.  This seems to be an outrageous example of overpricing.

If you still have the base for the aerial (The stub that is attached to the roof with a screw thread on it) then try one of these:

I've got one on mine, it's much shorter than the original, screws straight on and works very well.
