Hi Roger, we need more information. What distance journeys you. Fan will not come on until the engine needs cooling, and fans on some cars will remain running to cool the engine, even after you have switched off the engine and has locked the car.

Does the fan come one when the aircon is running? It should do.

Wish there was an option to place money, or points, on some topics to see if the user ever comes back for his answer.

Will he come back, or will this be another topic with 4 members giving good reply's, but member is nowhere to be found? Place your bets!

Yes it would be helpful to at least know the outcome!

Like the poster on the Avensis forum the other day who was furious to find that some of them can develop cracks around the door check straps...but didn't report back as to whether their own car was suffering from this particular problem. It leaves you wondering if they either a) found horrendous cracks in the doors of their car and went off in a strop to have it out with their dealer, or b) found their doors were absolutely fine so then felt too embarassed to come back!
