I have a CPO RAV4 that I bought last year.
 
In the phone/messaging settings, I can’t turn off the setting that reads “Update Read Status on Phone.” In fact I can’t change any of the settings in this menu. I can turn things on/off in other menus. The problem is that when I get out of my car, all of my text messages are marked as read and there is no notification even though I hit ignore on the car. Does anyone know how I can toggle the messaging settings on/off. Help please!  Are others able toggle this on/off?
