Hi,

Anyone could help to identify what can it be please? It is on 2015 new shape toyota avensis 2,0 diesel engine car done 106k motorway miles and recently went in to limp mode few times.

Once plug in techstream for fault code above and live data shows exhaust temperature sensor B1S3 -40.0C?? and DPF Differential pressure -326.88 kpa??

Can it be both sensor are faulty or it could be something else?

Hi Stanislav,

I have deep cleaned the DPF as it was blocked still the same problem. Took to the Toyota they can not tell why.

This BMW engine consumes a lot of oil I my guess is that is why DPF gets blocked very quickly.

What you found what it is with your car?

im guessing if getting into dpf issues with those bmw engines and well if Toyota engine also by the lack of driving and the dpf is blocked im guessing this is the only way of cleaning if you could take the dpf put and leave it into a shop that specialise in cleaning them with a dpf cleaning machine like these

Hi Aurellijus

You have 2WW Engine right? How did you manage to deep clean DPF. There’s not much videos or information regarding its location.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

is it possible to drill a hole right threw the filter to the other side of the exaust .thats crazy many miles and that filter blocked already such a pain in the ***** those things. tbh thats why i kina would think about getting rid of mine. tbh im thinking to myself about my last vw group car it had none of that stuff and i by passed the egr valve on my 1.9tdi and went into my vcds (vagcom) and went intol the adaptations and turned down the values in the dpf  settings that turned off the check engine light on my dash lol. god that was a great car .i got rid of it also because that car tax was expensive on it compared to my toyota

I am not trying to drill any holes and map it out. I am looking for an alternative legal way of overcoming this problem without having the part replaced. It is possible to take out DPF and get it professionally cleaned then fit it back in again. Only problem is on 2WW N47 engine it is difficult to locate and there’s not much information or videos about in online/YouTube.
It seems like there so much information regarding old Avensis but absolutely nothing with the newer ones (2016+, 1WW/2WW, N47 engine).

Can't see why the DPF is difficult, just lift the car up(garage/diy garage with lift).

Unbolt front/back pressure valves , exhaust , unbolt DPF and remove.(juggling the exhaust and pre-CAT!

Then use (your choice ) cleaner, or take the unit to a cleaner.

Or gut it, (it's off!)

But as this is a late reply, what did you do?
