Hi

I have toyota Auris 2008 Model. My issue is that the car is leaking inside on the passsenger seat as well as driver's seat. I have changed the windscreen but still the problem persists. Has anyone experienced the same problem and is there a solution to this?

Thanks

Are you using your air-condition ( on hot or cold does not matter ). I had clean water leaking into the driver side and it was the ac drain being clogged up. I located the drain plug in the engine compartment and blew into the drain with compressed air. I used 2-3 can just to be 100% its clean

Are you saying you changed the screen in an attempt to rectify this particular problem ?

Water can travel via capillary action and end up a long way from where it is actually entering. Could it be travelling down any lead from the aerial?

I'd take a hose, and spray sections of the car, with some time delay, to find where the leak is.

This is typical for many cars, usually windshield seal if windscreen been changed  or may be from the gutter, micro cracks where the metal panels joined together, very common fault on Toyota cars, Auris, Prius, Corolla but more often happens on the rear and floods the boot. Hose or water bottle test it’s recommended. If the cracks are to blame , very difficult to spot them, they can be hair thin . 👍

If it is via hairline cracks in the gutters or windscreen, something like Captain Tolleys has been used by members to good effect - http://www.captaintolley.com

Mike, Captain Tolleys looks the business. I'd like to suggest that it goes into the Tips & Tricks post in each forum!
