Avensis Touring - tips for buying

Hello all. 

I'm looking for a used car. I have narrowed it down to a Civic Tourer or Avensis Tourer.

I'll be looking for a 2016 model onwards, 2.0 diesel. Probably 40-50,000 miles. 

From the searches I have done, the only obvious issues are the electronic hand brake, though this was apprantly improved by the 2016 models. 

Anything obvious I should look for and would you buy again?

I have a 2016 Avensis Tourer. 50k miles. No issues so far.  Has a 5 year warranty, so maybe look for less than 5 years old.
