I am looking for a bike carrier for a 2002 Previa CDX. The big roof spoiler causes a problem as the straps on most carriers would exert a large amount of pressure on what is a fairly flimsey piece of plastic. I know I could go for the tow bar option, but wondered if anyone knew of any bootlid mouted models which work. I need to carry 3 bikes.

I use a carrier from Halfords, It clips onto the read door (top and sides and under the vehicle) Carried 3 bikes to Switzerland with no probs

I don't have a top spoiler, but as far as I know there is a gap inbetween the top edge of the door and spoiler.
