Led wing mirror indicators.

Recommended Posts

I have always loved Toyota but my latest purchase is annoying me, it is a 2010 Avensis Estate 2.0D4d. The drivers wing mirror indicator light is not working and the dealer wants over 60 squid for a new led. To me it should be a 50c bulb. Has any else come across this problem and how did you sort it?

If its led, its a sealed unit, I assume you have checked that it has power going to it

I believe it is sealed but car washes can bring water from around the mirror and mess it up, so the dealer price can go up, I simply ordered the whole mirror unit second hand. Very easy to install once you take out the screw near door lever.

They are LED, and sealed unit, it does not have a traditional "bulb" in it, it's a replacement I'm afraid
