Repairs, parts and garages

Hello all. I'm hoping to buy a Voxy or Noah in the coming weeks. I'm really concerned about the ease of repair if/when things start to go wrong.

Please share your experiences about garages....

Can a standard garage source the parts and complete the work? Are parts more expensive than non import vehicles? Do parts need to be imported - if yes, what kind if timescale are we talking?

Thanks in advance

*Edit to add - UK based

Try go see a competent importer...they'll give you an insight at least.

There's no witchcraft when it comes to servicing etc..any decent garage should be able to deal with it.

My own garage is actually a Saab/Subaru specialist but they service my Estima and have done since I bought it..I've dealt with them for over 10 years.

I've had my Estima for over 5 years now...never a problem with parts...service parts etc are generally easy to source in the UK.

I bought my Estima from Alljapanesevehicles/KV cars in Stockport...brilliant service and would recommend.

Service parts are common with the Corolla/Avensis/Rav4 most are off the shelf

Body, interior and glass parts may be a problem
