Toyota Logistics Depot

My Corolla is supposedly in transit but from various posts on here previously i can see that this could take another couple of weeks to arrive with the dealer.

Just out of curiosity the previous stage in the process states delivery to Toyota Logistics Depot. Is that still at Burnaston or somewhere else in the UK;  Lutterworth perhaps? 

Map on MyT seems to have got even crazier as the build procedes now showing a route to somewhere near Portsmouth which is no where near my dealer.

Based on my experience, the information is not very reliable. I would be inclined to refer to your dealer for a delivery estimate and ignore the Toyota order tracker. Mine was 'in transit' for a few weeks before it actually arrived. There's no way of telling what the logistics are really up to.

Agreed...it may have left the factory and technically be in transit but could have moved to a compound awaiting a transporter...mine also was showing in transit for some time and then another week almost after it had "arrived" before they contacted me. It was then going to be the following week for collection but I arranged for week after due to commitments

I am now told that the car will go to Portbury before being shipped onwards to the dealer

Wouldn't that be just for cars made outside UK? I thought those landed in Bristol then went to Derby and finally to the dealer...maybe I am wrong

No apparently all go to the dealer via Portbury regardless of where the car is made
