Electric handbrake problem

Hi, I have a problem with my electric handbrake on my 2015 Avensis estate.

It is an intermittent fault. Some times when you switch off the car the handbrake will not apply automatically, or it won't apply by using the switch either.

There is no alarm or warning on the display, just a message saying to check that the handbrake is applied.

Has anyone had this issue, I know the earlier models had an issue with the actuator, but Toyota tell me there have not been the same problems with the 2015 model.

Thanks for that. It has not happened to my car for a while but I'll watch out for that.
