a taxi guy on one of the older avensis told me he put a non genuine toyota fan belt and he said there was a annoying squeak noise from the engine he told me he left it of a few mechanics and they couldn't find the problem. so the guy i know he told me he was sick listening to the annoying squeaking so be bought it to the toyota dealer and came to conclusion was a non genuine toyota fan belt as was a hair bigger making the annoying noise .toyota put a genuine belt in and the noise went away .

I did it to my old avensis to no noise 370000 miles no noise now on my 2012 2.0

i tried googling that part online and didnt come up gates belt pk71370  can you send me a link to where that is those numbers dont match up

 AC belt is 90916-02691 comes up as a 7PK1870 (7 rib, 1870mm long

NON ac Belt 90916-W2013 comes up as a 7PK1370 (7 rib 1370mm) - Gates 7PK1367

thank you ever so much by chance u know whats the best brand to get there as i know a taxi guy and he got a new belt and he said was squeaking noise and he didnt know where was coming from he left it into toyota that it was frying his head and lo and behold was the belt as it was slightly wider than the genuine toyota ones .
