Microscan Alarms

Hi everyone,

A little while ago I pitched a query here about how to adjust the sensitivity on a microscan alarm - after much effort I've found the secret. On an 'M' reg import (my only personal frame of reference) I've found the sensitivity control to be located behind the pop out cover to the right of the steering column. Insert a very small screwdriver and turn it half way clockwise - it's still sensitive enough to detect the impact of a thug-driven football, but it won't go off if a cockroach farts = wonderfully easy nights sleep. Just note, the sensitivity is not down to a trembler, it's linked to the ultrasonics, so that's the control unit to adjust.
