Clock problem on iQ

After setting the clock on my newly acquired iQ, waiting 5 seconds between minute and hour setting as instructed, when I returned to the car the following day, the time had not moved forward, it was still showing the time I had set the previous day. Can anyone explain this?

you didn't come out of the clock setting, set the hour, wait 5 sec's, set the minute and press the Mode stalk/button to exit

Thanks for that flash22, problem solved.

While we're on the problem of clocks, since I bought my used 2019 iQ, my clock has a terrible gain as to make the use of the otherwise functioning clock useless, even on the first day after adjustment.  Any ideas how to correct it, anybody?

I'm not sure if it's a generated clock or if it has a crystal, but its part of the instrument cluster, is either a repair or replace job
