Horn relay

We have a 2013 single cab Hilux and the horn has stopped working.

Toyota say that there is no horn relay, but I can hear a relay trying to click under the under-bonnet fuse box! Is there a relay hidden in there? And if so, how do I get at it?

Any help, gratefully received, I seem to have an intermittent feed to the horn, fuse is ok and everything else checks out.

Hi had this issue with my 2008, no relay. It was the horns themselves that had gone and the Squib spring in the steering wheel… Both very easy to do…

i take it is an 05-2013 Hilux

yes, it uses a horn relay, 10A horn fuse feeds both sides of the relay and is part of the integration relay module (black module in the main fuse box with 2-4 fuses on top)

just an example

check for voltage at the horns, and check the ground for the horn (horn mounting bolt)
