St162 To Gt-s Conversion

I have a FWD ST162 with a 3SFE... I don't want to go through changing it over to RWD so my question is this:

Can I drop a 3SGTE in my car and keep the FWD AT? If so, will it all bolt up fairly easily?

You can fit the GTE motor but you'll need to change the transmission to one that can cope with the power it puts out. The best donor route is the motor and transmission from an MR2 turbo. You also need its drive shafts ECU and engine loom. Then you need the front hubs, brakes and outer C.V. joints and the gear selector mechanism and cables from a Celica Altrac. When you source the transmission make sure you get one with a limited slip differential otherwise the torque steer will be a killer.
