Hi

The cargo light in the boot of my 2007 has burned out a few months ago and i need to replace it.
I tried to use a thin screw driver to remove it but the sucker didnt want to pop open. Is there a special way to get this out without the risk of cracking or breaking the glass ?

Thnx
S

Hi,

you can wrap the small screwdriver with cloth , paper tape or perhaps use on of these handy tools https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111324123752?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8YCMOA1vSUC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=p34UK1z2T4m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Good luck

I used the tool Tony has linked, and pops right out, ideally with plastic removal tool.

Be aware that 1st time it's really hard to take it out, but after that it's just a few seconds.

You need to apply outwards force to the side of the light facing towards you.

Picture is from 2nd gen Auris, but it's only to understand where to apply force.
