I love the new GR Sport Yaris Cross but really want to keep the blind spot monitoring that I have in my C-HR. From the information I have this only comes in the Yaris Crossover Excel, is that right?

Yes according to Toyota equipment spec blind spot monitoring is only available on the excel.
