Verso - Engine Malfunction following DFP Regeneration

I had my 2017 Verso with the dealer 2 weeks ago as I had an orange Engine Malfunction light.

2 Codes were reported:

P00BD - Mass or Volume Air Flow

P1443 - Patriculate Filter Lamp....

Recommendation was "replacing map sensor and perform dpf regeneration" which was done - filter replaced.

When I got the car back the Engine Malfunction light came on again a few times but it was intermittent, then all good for 8 day, now light consistent for the past 2.

I will take it back to the dealer but does anybody have any info on what might be going on here?

Any info appreciated.

Bad EGR valve, It's either faulty or sooted up, bet it's a pain to start when cold and kicks out black smoke
