I’ve changed my climate control all went well and it’s working fine when I finished putting the trims back on I noticed this in the passenger footwell and have no idea where it’s come from  anyone done the job before know what and where it goes thanks

I was driving a Triumph Herald Coupe when there was a crash and clatter and a lot of black painted metal bits fell round my feet.

I could not find where it had come from and the heater still worked.  I threw the bits away when I sold the car. 😁

I knew what the part was, because mine was detached when I was fitting my Bluetooth/USB adapter many years ago. I don't always view the forum for a few days.
