emotion vs intelligence (luxe or less km's)

As described in the topic title I'm in doubt. I'm in the market for a used iQ and have seen two potential candidates, but I can't choose. Price of bot iQ's is the same but:

Emotion:
- Aspiration white paint (I know about the painting problem)
- build: december 2011, 135.000km
- luxe optional leather chairs in front and back + standard aspiration package I suppose you all know
- 2nd owner, well maintained (not at Toyota dealer)
- Price new 16240 euros

Verstand:
- Black edition comfort
- build januari 2010, 70.000km
- cruise control
- "boring" standard iQ interior pre 2011
- 1st owner and maintained at Toyota dealer
- Price new 13749 euros

My emotionele says white with "luxe", intelligence says black edition.......

Will use the iQ for approx 15.000-20.000 km per year.

What would be your pick?

Id go lower mileage (ive got a 2009model) but a relative has a newer one which is very nice....that is alot of difference on the mileage!

Or wait for more to come up....?

135.000 km is next to nothing for these cars, I would for sure go for the luxury.

Personally... neither.

I think I'd keep looking and waiting for something newer/lower miles?

I’ve seen this one, but it’s quite expensive. And after reading a few test reports and forum posts I conclude that the 1.3 is not such a big advantage over the 1.0 as it seems. I’m looking at the price range of €5.000-6.000,-. After checking the market for weeks now I came to the conclusion that the white one gives the most for its value IMO.

I’m watching the market for 4 weeks now and I have seen only one other black iQ that came close to my wishes at the right price. Although it was the comfort (iQ1) and I do prefer the Aspiration (iQ2)

I bought mine two weeks ago for 4500 euro. Aspiration and cvt, but 166.000 kilometers. Doesn’t bother me at all, full dealer history, and we also have an Auris hybrid with 268k, still running flawless. It is a Toyota, after all.

Cars from the UK have the steering wheel on the wrong side for us here on the continent.

I’ve picked up the white one today. Nice car and like the way it drives/ handles. Looking forward to add safe and reliable km’s. Thanks for your input.

That would have been my choice, the Aspiration package, or Q2, has a lot of goodies you would otherwise miss.

Congrats and enjoy!
