Thinking of a 13 reg Yaris auto-any problems fitting a towbar for a garden trailer?

Do these have the electric handbrake and can they be troublesome like that on the Avensis?

13 plate doesn’t have an electric handbrake (our 15 plate 1.33 manual doesn’t). I’d check the towing ratings - expect its at least 750kg which should be fine for a garden trailer
