2018 Camry Bluetooth Volume Control

Hello, everyone. I have a Camry that I use bluetooth on every day. For some reason this morning the bluetooth volume control has changed. Before I could not use the volume control on my phone, only the radio volume itself. Now the volume control isn't available, and I can only use the buttons on the side of the phone to control the volume. When you turn the volume on the radio from 0 to 1 you go from nothing to full volume. But from 1 to 56 has no impact. The phone now controls the level of the volume. I want to change it back to the car radio adjusting the volume but can't find a thread for this. I have an iPhone 10. The car doesn't have "car play". The car is a 2018 Camry XLE. Please let me know if there are other details you need to help. Thanks in advance.
