2023 design seats

Hi all,  the time has come to change my 12 year old avensis estate I am only getting 32mpg now from the 1.8 engine and it needs few repairs 

I had budget of 25k and was looking at 2022 corolla tourings but think I may be able to stretch to a 2023 1.8 model, is the newer car worth holding out for, are the design seats all cloth??

They're a combination of cloth and a fake leather sort of material, although mostly cloth. I find them to be quite comfortable. I've not tried the previous 1.8 but the 2023 seems fast enough for me with 140hp. I am also a fan of the digital cockpit too, which I don't think is on the older model.

+1 for 2023 models for all the reasons above. 
The design seats look nice and durable too. Better than full fake leather on excel and trek models. 👌

I agree, the leather in excel in 2023 is really a disappointment, design just drops the adaptive headlights and HUD, you still get the power boot and the led light strips in the boot
