Connecting vehicle to internet

Hi all,

Can anyone explain to an idiot how I connect my 2018 Auris to the internet please?

I've sat in the vehicle with my phone connected to both bluetooth and the internet, but get "connection failed" each time. I was following Toyota's instructions to update my satnav which has to be done via 'bluetooth tethering' but can't get it to work. I have the Totoya Touch 2 system.

I'd appreciate any help.

Regards, Ron

I get the same error.

I have no satnav on my touch2 ststem.

I think you need "touch2 WITH GO" for this to work

Hi guys,

I have discovered that I have "Touch2 with Go" on my vehicle, and not just "Touch2" as I first indicated so, according to Toyota's instructional video on the web, it should be possible. However, I just cannot "tether".

My dealership will update the satnav for £225, but I'd rather not have to pay out when there apparently is a free way to do it.

I'll keep trying. Thanks.

No, if you are updating the sat nav you need buy a licence key, that is what the dealership is charging you for, it cannot be done for free
