App set up fail

Hi there,

I've just bought a new rav4 phev and tried to set up the my toyota app by confirming mileage. It gave me three attempts and none of them matched what as on the car apparently. It just said error. Now I've zero attempts left and I can't use the services on the app. I tried deleting the vehicle and adding it back to no avail. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Do you have a My Toyota account on the desktop at https://www.toyota.co.uk/ ?  On the account tab at the top right you can create an account or log in there if you have one already. You should be able to see all the details of your new car there, including the VIN etc.  You may be able to connect to the MyToyota app on your phone using those details.

I've got the same problem.  Have asked dealer to intervene and he said they can sort it their end. I don't know how long this will take. 

My problem was a result of the mileage field not allowing data entry on an S23 Ultra. I can enter the data on an old phone so am hoping to set services up on that and then log on to the S23 to see if they are enabled there.  I am hoping it does not only enable services for the phone they were activated on.
