Just thought I'll update you all, my Aygo has finally gone in for repair (accident date 5th December last year). I've been given a nice red Yaris, rather basic but its nice to have a bit more power.

Beautiful car!

It is been years since the Toyota dealer lends me Yarises, hoping one day I buy one instead of another Aygo 😅

I must admit I've been impressed with this one. I know I need an automatic handbrake, I wish they'd put one in the Aygo, but if they don't, then I could look up prices of a second hand yaris rather than a brand new Aygo next time. Only small niggle is that the entertainment screen actually appears smaller.

If you’re going to buy a Yaris, I would recommend that you give priority to a Mark4 Yaris. It’s a much much better car than the Mark3, I’ve had both. Best of luck.

I suspect it's an Icon as that has a smaller screen than the rest of the range, and is also the car most used for rental/courtesy. The higher specs have bigger screens and the post-facelift even bigger!

Sooo are you tempted? 'eh? 'eh? :naughty:

yeah tbh I don't really notice the size difference when I'm driving it.

Icon has 7" screen and 'projector headlights' - that's how to tell it's an icon spec. Design to Excel has 8-9" screen and led headlights. Fantastic little car.

And the silver painted wheels

And no rear tints

No need to get close to the car to spot those.

I thought the Icon had regular reflector halogens...?

I believe all the specs above it have projector LEDs though, and the dynamic and above get the fancy light bar DRLs
