Is this knob supposed go in and out?

Kids have pushed it in and it won't come back out again..?..

On my Mk1, one of the knobs pushed in, and to get it back out you had to push it in more and it'd pop back out again - Maybe it's like that?

Aye, even the radio/CD volume knob is like that on the MK1, don't know why, can't fathom any reason for it.

It turns up and down either way.

Hmm, from what I've been able to find, those knobs shouldn't be able to be pushed in like that so I think they might have broken it  

You might have to remove the head unit to pop it back out again if you can't grip it with something to pull it back out...
