Is it possible to Wirelessly connect Apple play

Hello, Need some help I have just bought a Yaris cross design and found out it only connects Apple by a cable, Is there anyway of connecting it via a wireless adaptor or any other way

i wasn’t told this by the dealer and really upset having to use cables

Perhaps you should have asked the question ....

Maybe was told that it had Android Play / Car Play and thought it was wireless, spec sheet probably said Android/Apple functionality and silent on level of performance.

It depends on the head unit you have. A Touch2 (?) Unit with small screen only supports a cable connection and you may need an add-on as suggested by jthspace. You can tell as it has knobs and buttons. This was standard on the design.

 

The larger 9" screen, using SmartConnect, does support wireless connections. This unit has only 4 flush buttons on the Left Hand Side of the display and was an option for the Design.
