Hello. I'm new to this forum and hoping for a little help please. I selling my loved RAV 4 but have no idea what to price her at. I am trying to maximise my sale as we are currently buying a house and need all the finance I can get. She has had 2 female owners. 90k on the mileage and she has been looked after well but does have dents and scuffs. Please see some pics and a u help for a value or where anyone recommends I could an idea and best selling place would be really appreciated. Thanks Leanne

Hi Leanne, you will get more money selling the car privately, a quick valuation online gives £400 but other sites will not quote due to the age of the car. If you have a full service history and invoices for any work carried out that will really help with the price.

Your MOT expires in October and you have a couple of advisories for brakes but this shouldn't be a problem with selling the car.

The online valuation doesn't reflect what someone privately is prepared to pay for the car but without actual viewing the car it's difficult to give an exact value.

I Would suggest you go on auto trader etc and look for similar cars with the same milage this will give you a better idea of what other Ravs with similar age and milage are asking. IMO I think you are looking under £1000 but others may give you a better idea.I hope this helps.

I would agree with Bob, probably around the £500. The three door RAV4 is quite sought after in general, but condition always dictates the best price Leanne.

£700 - 800 for a quick sale, put it up for a £1000 - £1200 as you will get hagglers

Trade wise £100-300 the lower end being scrap with short MOT
