New to verso

I have been looking for ages for a decent mpv for our dogs. Initially I was looking at the Ford C-max, Peugeot 307SW,  Ford Focus Estate and  few others.. then someone said take a look at a verso

From what I can see I think it will suit us fine. As a 2nd car we will only do about 4k miles a year so I will want a petrol. There will be mainly 3 or 4 of us and 2 medium/large dogs. Our budget will be around £3k ish

I had a corolla and it was one of the best cars I'd owned.. totally reliable.

...so questions

Whats the difference between the 1.8 SR, 1.8 T Spirit, 1.8 VVT-i ?

What is the auto box like.. would prefer one if its reliable otherwise manual is fine

Is it Chain or Cambelt - how far does it need to be done
