Hospital car parking to get cheaper

Legal ruling against HMRC to remove VAT on hospital car parking charges. This only applies to parking managed directly by the NHS (ie the NHS Trust). Hospital parking managed by third parties isn't affected by the change.

Wonderful, our Trust contracted out.  This Trust charges extra for direct online charging.  At least we got the holes fixed.

Why should any doctor's, nurses or patient's and relatives pay for hospital parking.How much money does the NHS have to keep taking off the British public who already pour endless pots of money into a system that is broken and is only getting worse year after year. Exemption from VAT like they are doing is a favour for something that shouldn't be there in the first place.
