My grandaughter has a Yaris year 2017,she plays her music via her phone but it has stopped playing , everything else on the radio sat nav works.The main stealer has told her it needs soft ware update at £160.Any cheaper options please?

if you go into setup - general - System information it should either start with HE or XE
