With the latest stupidity about emissions and driving aids plus automation and electrification of anything in cars I see a trend and high demand for older cars., petrol manual particularly, pre 2000 models back to the early 70’s.
I will really enjoy something like golf mk2, escort mk3 or something similar, Corolla or Mitsubishi colt, lancer just not gonna be suitable for my daily commute of so many miles.

It doesn't  take a lot to flatten the 12v battery.  Mine went flat while I was sitting in the car waiting for my wife.  I was playing around with the Android Auto and the radio, and had been doing mostly short journeys in the winter.  I had to call out Green Flag.

I now carry a 12v power pack.

and that is exactly why I have disabled ACC on the car so it either is running (be it engine or hybrid) or off so you cant accidentally having it running with only the 12v Battery powering all the relevant bits.

Page 197 and 492 of the manual if you were interested.

ACC - Some electrical components such as the audio system can be used. “ACCESSORY” will be displayed on the multi-information display.

You can sit and listen to the radio 24/7 as long as you follow the instructions for all hybrids - leave it in READY mode.
