2001 Yaris - Brake Load Valve

My daughters 2001 Yaris recently failed its MOT. The garage explained that the brake load valve is faulty. They said it's the one with a spring located by the passenger side rear wheel. The only replacement part I can find is a genuine part from Japan that seems very expensive. I've tried breakers but no one seems to have one. Does anyone know where I can get one for a reasonable price or if there is a service kit to repair the original. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
