Charging using a 13 Amp. Source

Good morning folks, I am away from my home (where I have an OVO charger) at my brothers where I have chess to an external 13 amp plug to charge my car, but for some reason the car does not seem to accept charge. I wonder if anyone has any idea to help me out. I have used the device previously at home successfully (before my charger was installed) for a few days. I am so to speak “up a creek without a paddle”. I am in Ealing with 20% charge and need to drive back to Lincolnshire tomorrow. Any ideas?

First, have you verified that the socket in question is live? I know, that's obvious, but ...

Second, do you have any charging schedules set-up on the car that might preclude it from charging now?

If you can't resolve the issue with the 13A/3-pin charging cable then I would go on Zap map, or Plugshare websites, find where the local public charge-points are located, 7kW AC, or preferably DC rapid chargers and try to charge up using these.
