Whatever you do DONT forget that the LS400 market is a buyers market. These things are very easy to buy but a bitch to sell as they are soooooo big and only gangsters buy them :lol: .

I personally would say that the car is worth about £3000 max (but would have to be in fantastic condition). Unfortunately modifications on these cars de-value them and also the Series 1/2's dont hold their prices very well.

Also dont be fooled by the fact they have a 4ltr V8, they are very lardy and not that fast at all because of the sheer weight of the thing.

If he really wants one go for a Series 3 or 4. Soooooooooo much better :thumbsup:
