Why Does No One Wave?

This is probably a girlie question, you boys will think I am daft. But everytime I see a Yaris T Sport like mine (which is not very often) I wave to the driver. No one has ever waved back to me. Why do you think that is? When my husband is out in his EVO V everyone with the same car or a Subaru Impreza waves to him. So why are we Toyota drivers so unsociable?

With the amount of toyotas on the road up here in bradford, if i wave to each one, i'm far too likely to crash!

Maybe it's just the Welsh :P

Oi..... (Welsh blokey here...)

It depends on the drivers I guess, with the the MR2's I find the majority of people wave back or flash their lights, guess the Yaris must be one of those unsociable cars :P

I guess you've just been unlucky with the owners you've come accross....

Well we do live in Great Britain. You know how stiff the Brits can be at times.

Either that or they think a waver is just plain weird.

If someone waves at me, by the time I've worked out if they are actually waving at me and/or if I know them they are already dust............

Suepi -

Wave at someone you don't know in a car? You want to live in the South East of England - I don't even know my own neighbours !

Still can't believe you say noone waves, was driving up from J24 of the M4 towards monmouth yesterday and had a moment which made me think of this post....

approx 4.30pm not going much over 85mph with the roof off came up on the outisde of a blue ford escort, coupleof girls in the back (all looked over 20) and next thing I know I got a thumbs up out of the drivers window and then another two out of the rear passsengers window :D

Also passed another dark blue Mk2 MR2 this morning and quick nod of the headback in return to the wave I gave him :)

Definately not just the welsh, I'm always waving and seeing whose around, even wave at an elise convoy yesterday, got waves back :)

Maybe you should try waving with all fingers rather than just the middle one facing forwards :P :D
